About Us

Dr. Lanny J. Groves, a Gulf War veteran, accepted Christ as his Savior after separating from the Army in 1991. God turned his military experience into a passion to reach those in uniform for Christ. In 1996, he began to prepare for full-time ministry. He met and married his wife Stacey while attending Denton Bible Church in Denton, TX, and in 1999, they moved to South Korea to minister to the U.S. soldiers stationed at Camp Humphreys.

After four years in Korea and a short stint in Mexico with Denton Bible Missions, the Lord led Lanny and his family to Louisville to become half of the team planting Jeffersontown Bible Church. They have been residing in the Jeffersontown area since December 2005.

The Groves have recently returned to their first love, ministering to the military via hospitality with Cadence Int'l.  They are very excited about returning to this ministry and are eager to see how the Lord will raise up their prayer and financial support team to sustain them and this vital ministry to our military.

The Groves have been blessed with 5 children: Caleb, Katie Jo, Seth, Bethany and Joshua.

Lanny completed his seminary training at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
