We are thankful for all of you who have chosen to stay on our email list. We are going to strive to send out a monthly prayer request and praise report to keep you all abreast to what is going on in our lives and ministry. This report will also be posted on our NEW website, www.grovesupdate.com. Please feel free to browse the site at your leisure and send your friends there who may be interested in partnering with us in ministry.

Prayer requests:

1. Continued healthy pregnancy for Stacey and baby Joshua. Yes, it appears we will be having a boy! Thus, the boys are in the lead by one.
2. Balanced time between my pastoral duties at J-town Bible Church and raising support with Cadence.
3. Smooth transition for us and the saints of JBC.
4. The support that was raised through the IFCA to assist in our support for JBC runs out in October. At this time our support base will decrease by $1,000 putting us around $1,600 per month in salary. Needless to say we cannot survive on this level. Even though we are trying to raise support for our Cadence ministry, I would like to ask you to pray about giving toward our current needs also. Monthly or one-time gifts would be welcome. I know the Lord is in charge and He will provide, so pray also that I can apply this "head knowledge" to my heart and life. Gifts for our current ministry at JBC can be sent to: MCE, PO BOX 337. Remington, IN 47977 (Simply place in note with it stating that it is for the Groves ministry).
5. I will be in TX for a few days the week of 19 Aug for home meetings.
   Pray with me that these will be productive and that a couple more meetings can be scheduled before I book my ticket this week.
6. Our 2nd newsletter with Cadence went out on July 27, and can also be found on www.grovesupdate.com. In this newsletter was a self addressed and STAMPED postcard. Please pray that we will receive all 286 of these back as the responses we receive will help us greatly as we plan our next steps to returning to our "first love".

Praises:

1. We were able to obtain maternity insurance for Stacey and insurance for the kids via a state plan. This has provided some much needed relief for us.
2. We are extremely grateful for the support of my partner and his family, the Duncans. We compliment one another well and are thankful that the Lord has allowed us to work together in establishing this church plant. We are thankful for this wonderful personal and working relationship.
3. The support of the families of JBC for our change in ministry has also been great!
