Groves Update
Prayer/Praise Report - March 2008
Prayer requests:
- We travel to Jonesboro, AR to visit a supporting church Mar 14-18. Please pray for a productive time with Fellowship Bible Church. Lanny will meet with the staff and elders for b-fast Sat. morning, the family will be presented to the church on Sun. and then Mon. night we will present the ministry to whoever attends our Q and A time that evening. Pray for new supporters to join our team from these meetings.
- Continue to pray for our KY home to sell. We have had a few showings. Pray we continue to trust God's timing and not get discouraged.
- Lanny is traveling to Chicago on Feb. 28 to drop off our applications for visas at the Spanish Consulate. Please pray that the Lord will move these through quickly so that we can be in the field by summer.
- We remain greatly encouraged at our Lord's provision of support. We also need a host of committed prayer warriors so please pray that many would be faithful to partner with us prayer.
- We have several churches who are considering supporting us at the moment; these decisions should be rendered this month. Pray they do!
Praises:
- We still estimate that we are at around 60% in committed support. We anticipate this number increasing as those who are considering supporting us come on board. We are so grateful for those the Lord is raising up to partner with us in ministry!
- We are grateful for those attending the Villa now, who are praying for us. We can't wait to meet them!
- Baby Josh is growing into a big healthy boy. He's in the 90th percentile in height, so we know he doesn't take after Lanny! We praise the Lord for our sweet little one.
Thanks for your prayers and interest in what the Lord is doing in us and through us!
In Service to Him,
The Groves Family
