Groves Update
Prayer/Praise Report - April 2008

Prayer requests:

1. We have a contract on our house with a contingency that they sell their house first. Please pray that their homes sells soon or the Lord sends us a buyer who is ready to buy without a contingency. We will continue to market it until we get a definite closing date.
2. We anticipate returning to TX the first week in May to work on finishing up our support base; please pray for the logistics of this.
3. Lanny is traveling to Hawaii 23-29 April for support meetings. (We are thankful for enough air miles to get an affordable ticket to make this trip possible!) Please pray for productive meetings while on the island and some great time connecting with current supporters and friends.
4. We still have yet to break the 70% mark for committed support but remain encouraged at the progress. Pray with us that we can break through this mark and that the Lord will raise up the additional $2,400 in monthly support we need to be released to the field.
5. On the home front, please pray for Seth, who's been having bowel issues for the last 2 months. We're on the last "idea" of the doctors before we need to go to a GI specialist. Pray this is resolved easily!
6. Please pray for all our kiddos in our upcoming move. They will all react differently to leaving friends here, living out of suitcases for awhile, then moving to Spain. Pray we as parents can help them transition well and recognize any emotional needs they have.

Praises:

1. We are so grateful for you whom the Lord is raising up to partner with us in ministry! We've gained several new supporters this month, and our outgoing expenses are almost met (we lack around $8,000).
2. We had a wonderful time with Fellowship Bible Church in Jonesboro, AR in March. It was good to get to connect with some old friends and to share our ministry with the saints there. We thank God for their support!
3. We praise the Lord for committed supporters throughout the U.S. who have invited me to come and share with their churches and friends. (If you would like to host a home meeting or multiple ones please let me know, as you can tell from my upcoming trip I am willing and able to travel anywhere. :-)
