Groves Update
Prayer/Praise Report - September 2008

Praises:

• We praise God for the people of the Villa. They are so servant-hearted and generous! They are hungry for the Word, and serious about their individual walks with Christ. What a blessing they are!
• We thank God for the 4 new families that have come since we've been here. The word is getting out that we have a big ol' playground! :)
• The kiddos have made several sweet friends, and have even attended their first birthday party - a direct answer to their prayers!
• We've started our first week of homeschooling, and so far so good. We praise Him for the freedom to do that - in a beautiful outdoor classroom to boot!

Prayer:

• We haven't found our "new normal" as a family yet; pray we settle into a good groove with home-schooling, family life, and ministry.
• Pray that our Villa maintenance issues get resolved this month: septic tank problems, mold in Lanny's office, ants that are threatening to carry us away, and a much-needed storage shed to be purchased and built.
• Our bible studies (Quest for Authentic Manhood and Financial Peace University) are starting this week - pray for committed folks and changed lives as a result of our time together.
• PWOC starts next week - pray Stacey can find her niche there and form relationships with whom God has planned. Pray also for God's wisdom in planning women's events at the Villa. (There are already some requests to learn quilting - I'd love for that to be a monthly or bi-weekly outreach.)
